Alpara Seed - Blue

Rosie Bird created this intricate design depicting the alpara (rat-tail plant) seeds in cool shades of blues and purples. Rosie has been painting since 1989, learning from her father, aunts and uncles. She lives amongst a large community of painters.

These designs contain visions of wild desert flowers, dancing spirits, spirit people, animals, winds and currents, and depict parts of authentic Aboriginal life.
