This is a Singer Featherweight 222 in the original black. The Featherweight 222’s are quite rare and highly valued as only a small number of these machines were manufactured. This version of the classic Featherweight features a removable extension plate and a round bed. The tubular bed feature makes it ideal for sewing curved or cylindrical articles of clothing.

This Featherweight 222 has the very desirable “Red S” badge, a rare find, especially on the 222’s. The finish on this machine is super shiny with very few scratches. The Art Deco decals are in very good shape. The numbered needle plate facilitates accurate sewing. A real treasure—-you will love it!

All of our machines come with a carrying case, 5 bobbins, a cleaning brush, a set of screwdrivers and a copy of the instruction booklet. Everything you need to start sewing!
