Kaffe Fassett has inspired people across the world with his colorful work in fabric, knitting, needlepoint, patchwork, painting and mosaic. Born in Northern California and growing up in the bohemian colony of Napenthe, his unique artistry is well known around the world.
His base is in England where he collaborates with Brandon Mably and Phillip Jacobs on textile designs, carefully adding the color which makes these pieces so special. His bold and bright fabrics are a favorite of quilters and his colorful and bright designs are featured in books, magazines and museums.
Kaffe tours internationally to lecture, promote and encourage others to find their own creativity. His life, like his work, is peppered with travel, color and creativity. His books are as beautiful to look at as they are inspiring, with amazing locations and stunning photography.
