I love fresh flowers on my table but I don’t always have them, so I decided the next best thing would be to make a table runner filled with beautiful blossoms. —-Carolyn Murfitt
The Blossoms table runner is an easy project perfect for a quick finish. The appliqué is made up of simple shapes and is laid onto the background fabric in two sections making it easier to sew on and then once joined, the final flower is sewn into place. Simple quilting completes this project.
Use your scraps or your stash of favorite fat quarters for this project. The maximum size needed to create a single flower is a fat quarter.
You will need 1.5 yards of fabric for the backing if you are quilting it yourself. You will need 2.5 yards if quilted by a long-armer.
Finished Size: 20” x 90”
