Roxanne's Story
In 1981, Roxanne Barbieri founded a great little shop, "The Treasure Hunt", first in the living room of her house, and moving in 1982 to 919 Maple Street, in Carpinteria, CA. The original shop was only about 500 square feet, but grew quickly to occupy nearly 4000 square feet.
In July, of 2011 Roxanne ‘s shop was re-invented and opened as "Roxanne's, A Wish and A Dream", at the same location. The shop was remodeled, refurbished and updated with the help of the entire Barbieri family. Of course, the new shop would still have all Roxanne's favorite things from the original store, quilting, knitting, needlework, and gifts, but added more art and creative inspirations.
The “New” shop is bright, cheery and a unique piece of art in itself. Come by and get inspired for your next project!
