Kaffe - 2023 Seed Packet Quilt Kit

A note about the 2023 version of Kaffe’s Seed Packet Quilt Kit:

We have followed the fabric requirements as listed on the Free Spirit Fabrics website directed by Kaffe for this quilt. Many of the flowers are larger in this rendition of the quilt, so more yardage is required than the original 2022 version. In addition, we feel there is enough fabric to make this into a king size quilt, or to make an additional baby size quilt with the leftover fabric. We know you will enjoy this quilt and have plenty of choices to make it into your own special creation!

You will need to purchase fabric for the backing. You will need 5 1/8 yards of 44” wide fabric or 2 1/4 yards of 108” wideback fabric. We recommend Kaffe’s 108” Brocade Peony in Natural. See it here: 108” WIDEBACKS

Finished Size: 68” x 83” (Again, there is plenty of fabric in this kit for you to enlarge the size of your quilt to a Queen or King.)

Please note:

Our version of the Seed Packet quilt is slightly different from the original Free Spirit pattern. The kit contains a wide variety of Kaffe’s floral designs and the center of this quilt consists of randomly sewn squares. Take liberties and fussy cut your favorites! Part of the fun of creativity is the surprise factor.

The second is Kaffe’s Reducing Lens. The lens works like a magnifier in reverse. Designs shrink to appear as viewed from a distance. Ideal for small work areas with no space to view the designs.
