Slow Stitched - Small Hand Stitched Box with Beth Maitland

Saturday, June 14th - 1pm to 4pm

This three-hour course covers techniques to hand stitch and embellish reusable stand up Box Pouches. Kantha, Boro and basic embroidery stitching, as well as fabric collage, layout planning, and embellishment are all covered in this class.

Curated slow stitch kit and premade-by-me Box Pouch base included in course fee ($30 value). Kit includes base fabric, batting, threads, tapestry needle, collage fabric, lace, embellishments and instructions.

All skill levels welcome. If you can sew on a button you can do this course! Please bring scissors, thimble and needles to class. Extras will be available.
