Knitting Class - Fair Isle Knit with Emily Cross

Fair Isle Hat - 2 Sessions/2 Hours each, $100

In this class Emily will teach you the tricks to get a beautiful finished Fair Isle piece. You will have the option to learn a 2-color rib, known as a corrugated rib. How do I read one of those charts? We will go over this; reading a color chart in the round. We will look at ways to design your own Fair Isle hat.

Prior experience in knitting, purling and knitting in the round is required.

Emily Cross has been creating with fiber her whole life, although she maintains it is an urban myth that she was born knitting. She will cheerfully admit to sewing, quilting, felting, knitting and crocheting for over 40 years! In reviews, students have reported she is an extremely patient and encouraging teacher. To achieve this, she keeps class size small and intimate with only 4 to 6 students in each class.

All classes are a total of 4 hours, 2 hours each day. The classes are spaced 2 weeks apart to give you time to make progress.

$100.00 plus materials

Supply list to knit the hat pictured will be sent to you upon registration. Pattern for hat will be provided in class.

Please note: We require a minimum of 4 students to sign up for the class. If we don't meet the minimum, you will receive a full refund. Payment in full is due 7 days before class starts.
